🎻 Cultural Companions Outing:Sherkin Island Fringe Concert

🎻 Cultural Companions Outing Sherkin Island Fringe Concert

🌊 Olympia Quartet – West Cork Chamber Music Festival Fringe

📅 Tuesday 30 June 2026 | 2:45pm Ferry 2pm sailing

📍 Sherkin Island Community Hall

💚 Free admission | No booking required

We’ll meet at Baltimore Pier at 1.45pm to take the 2pm ferry together to Sherkin. It's a short 10 minute crossing and a lovely part of the day in itself, crossing over the water and arriving on the island together.

An important note for this outing is that if you have a Free Travel Pass, the ferry is free for you, and your companion can travel free as well.

Once we arrive on Sherkin, the community bus can take members up to the hall or you can choose to walk the short distance.

The Olympia Quartet performance at 2:45pm is part of the West Cork Chamber Music Festival Fringe a welcoming, informal concert setting where there’s no pressure and no need for any prior knowledge of classical music. It’s simply about listening, being present, and sharing the experience together.

After the concert, there will be time to stay on the island for a short walk or chat before taking a later ferry back to Baltimore together.

Ferry returns at 5pm or 6pm to Baltimore
