A talk on 'The History of Doneraile Court' in Mallow Library

📚 “The History of Doneraile Court” A Talk

📅 Saturday 13th June | 2:00pm
📍 Mallow Library
💚 Free event | No booking required | Everyone welcome

We’ll meet beforehand at Globe Café (Bank Place, just beside the library) for a relaxed coffee together from around 1:00pm, giving everyone time to arrive, settle, and enjoy a chat in good company before the talk. You are also welcome to just join for coffee and chats if you don't want to come to the talk.

At 2pm, we’ll head over to the Library for a talk by Mary Leamy (OPW) on the history of Doneraile Court. The talk shares the story of how Doneraile Court developed from a private family estate into one of Ireland’s most important and much-loved heritage sites, now open and enjoyed by visitors from across the country.

This is a very accessible, informal event and no prior knowledge is needed. It’s a chance to hear a local heritage story and enjoy a gentle cultural outing in familiar surroundings and great company.

Important: please let us know if you are coming so we can organise accordingly
