Cork Cultural Companions is an Age & Opportunity Arts initiative, delivered by Muintir Cork and supported by the HSE and Cork City and County Councils. Cork Cultural Companions has local networks of members who attend events together regularly in Cork City, Mallow, Bantry and East Cork.

Save the Date: The Bealtaine Gathering 2023

We’re delighted to announce that The Gathering 2023 will take place on 15th November at the National Gallery of Ireland.

The Gathering is a day of networking, engaging discussions, and valuable feedback on the upcoming Bealtaine 2024 festival. It serves as a platform for local and national partners, organisers, artists, and individuals passionate about working with older people to come together. Bealtaine Festival, a month-long festival held every May, focuses on nurturing arts and creativity as we age.

Join us at this exciting event, where we’ll gain insights into the challenges and needs of our organisers. Additionally, we’ll showcase fascinating and inspiring events from previous festivals while providing practical support to our local organisers.
