Cork Cultural Companions is an Age & Opportunity Arts initiative, delivered by Muintir Cork and supported by the HSE and Cork City and County Councils. Cork Cultural Companions has local networks of members who attend events together regularly in Cork City, Mallow, Bantry and East Cork.

As the year comes to a close, we extend our heartfelt thanks to all our artists, audiences, funders, supporters and friends. Your continued support makes our work possible, and we are deeply grateful. Looking back on 2025 at Dance Cork Firkin Crane, here are a few highlights in numbers:

Crystal Cloud by Fiona Quilligan

Live performance and film intertwine as dancers move with passion, fragility and joy in this powerful work by award-winning choreographer Fiona Quilligan. Performed by a superb cast - Olwen Grindley, Eoin Mac Donncha, Yves Lorrhan and Fiona.

ANNOUNCING: Cloud Study by Irish Modern Dance Theatre

Irish Modern Dance Theatre's Cloud Study is coming to Cork in January. John Scott's beautifully choreographed and powerfully resonant duet features performances by Salma Ataya and Mufutau Yusuf, and music by Ryan Vail.
