HSE Let’s Talk Dementia Webinar Recording

Let’s Talk Dementia Webinar, co-hosted by HSE Healthy Ireland and the HSE National Dementia Services, took place with over 800 participants.

The speakers shared their experiences of working with people with dementia and their families and gave information on:

• the signs and symptoms of various types of dementia and the importance of understanding these,
• the supports and services that are available,
• the Dementia Model of Care in the HSE,
• the impact and importance of social inclusion on people living with dementia, and
• the experiences and stories of people affected by dementia.

There has been very positive feedback from people living with dementia, and those caring for people with dementia, citing the balance of clinical information, supports available and personal experience.
