Hi Cork Cultural Companions Welcome to the Triskel Newsletter for November. When you scroll through this month’s news, you would be forgiven for thinking there’s not a lot happening here but we’re the key venue for the Cork International Film Festival this year and will be showing 60+ films from 10-26 November so there’s plenty for you to enjoy. Before we get to CIFF though, we have the third Spotlight Chamber Music Series concert - this one is with Trio Táin and two great films: the best concert movie ever made and the first film Robert de Niro and Martin Scorsese worked on together. At the end of November, join us for the Piatti Quartet and NOTIFY who are coming back and this time they’re bringing siblings Séamus and Caoimhe Uí Fhlatharta. And in December news: our Christmas Movies are now on sale! The Muppets, Kevin McCalister, John McClane and George Bailey are bringing all the holiday feels back to Triskel so get your tickets now.
