Explore stunning moments captured by Breda Kiely Morgan in this photo exhibit all about wanderlust and discovery.

I grew up in the countryside surrounded by animals and wildlife . Since my early childhood , my parents instilled in me a great love of the natural world and being close to nature .

Today I live near the Munster Blackwater River in southern Ireland , which in the 19th century was sometimes called the Irish Rhine . We’re lucky in this area to have many woods and a river that is ever-changing and always beautiful , even in the harshest of weather .

I’v always had an interest in photography, but in the last five years it has become my most loved hobby. My work is driven by light, mood and capturing special moments. I look for the simplicity and colour and enjoy the quietness of nature, strolling and sitting on a riverbank or in a woodland listening and watching ,and waiting for the moment when something happens and catches my eye . I always like my images to tell a story , but I also understand that the meaning of an image might be different to someone else.
