My Little Library Book Bag

My Little Library Book Bags

We are delighted to announce the return of our My Little Library Book Bag initiative. This much‑loved programme supports children and families as they prepare for the exciting step of starting school.

Each child starting school this September can receive a free My Little Library Book Bag, which includes books and resources carefully selected to encourage a love of reading and help children become familiar with their local library from an early age. Sharing books together at home plays an important role in developing language skills, confidence and a lifelong enjoyment of reading.

My Little Library Book Bags are available now to collect from all Cork County Council Library branches, while stocks last. Families are welcome to visit their local library, meet our friendly staff and explore the wide range of services and activities available for children and parents.

We look forward to welcoming our newest readers and supporting them on their reading journey!
