Cork Cultural Companions is an Age & Opportunity Arts initiative, delivered by Muintir Cork and supported by the HSE and Cork City and County Councils. Cork Cultural Companions has local networks of members who attend events together regularly in Cork City, Mallow, Bantry and East Cork.

The Armed Men performance in Killeagh Church

 


The Voices Choir perform Karl Jenkins' The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace Sunday 8th March at 5pm in Killeagh Church


This moving work blends music and words from many cultures to explore war, loss, and the hope for peace. It moves from dramatic, powerful passages that evoke conflict, to gentle, reflective moments of prayer and remembrance. Performed in Killeagh Church , it invites us to reflect, remember, and leave with a sense of compassion and hope.
