The Cork County Local Community Safety Partnership is currently being established. This will bring together state services, community representatives and stakeholders in order to identify local safety concerns, develop local community safety plans and coordinate multi-agency efforts to address them.
The National Strategy for Improving Community Safety aims to help public services and communities work together to make communities safer and in this regard, the National Community Safety Survey is now open for submissions. This enables members of the public to provide their views on community safety and is open to anyone living in the Republic of Ireland and will run until the 27th of February.
