BRINGS 32 CONCERTS TO 22 VENUES NATIONWIDE
NSQF’S IRISH QUARTET ARCHIVE NOW INCLUDES 55 WORKS
The National String Quartet Foundation is delighted to present nine string quartets bringing high quality music to audiences throughout the country in its spring concert season
Performed by many of Ireland’s finest musicians, the series includes music by Donnacha Dennehy, Marian Ingoldsby, Milo McCarthy and Jane O’Leary alongside treasured favourites and lesser-known gems.
The season features a second collaboration with Finding a Voice festival and three concerts in a new NSQF Young Artists strand, celebrating a new generation of younger musicians
NSQF’s Irish Quartet Archive of recordings of music by Irish composers which has been performed on NSQF tours now holds 55 works with updates from Seóirse Bodley, Brian Boydell, Siobhán Cleary, Michael Doherty, Marja Gaynor, Deirdre Gribbin, Katherine Hunka and Sam Perkin
