2025 Programme to be announced in December We look forward to announcing the 2025 festival programme in December. We would like to thank Tom for allowing us to use his lovely painting. 30th West Cork Chamber Music Festival Among those musicians appearing at the 2025 Festival are: Ardeo Quartet, Chiaroscuro Quartet, Doric Quartet, Marmen Quartet, Tchalik Quartet, Pacific Quintet, Anna Besson, Rachel Podger, Woodpeckers Recorder Quartet, Lotte Betts-Dean, Brett Dean, Barry Douglas, Lucy Fitz Gibbon, Mairéad Hickey, Henning Kraggerud, Alma Kraggerud, Nathalia Milstein, Ella van Poucke, Paula Meehan, Paddington Trio and many more. Ardeo Quartet to appear at 2025 Festival Ardeo Quartet will be returning to Bantry for the 2025 Festival. The quartet, made up of women from France, Japan and South Korea, made its Bantry debut in 2023 to great acclaim with standout performances of Bach's Goldberg Variations and Beethoven's String Quartet No.9 in C major. They return to perform Janáček's Intimate Letters in its original version with viola d’amore as well as Bach's Art of Fugue ( specially learnt for this Festival); Beethoven's Quartet in E minor; Kaija Kaariaho's Terra Memoria; Mendelssohn's String Quintet No.2 in B flat with Brett Dean and more.   Listen back to the Quartet's 2023 performance of Beethoven's Quartet No. 16 in F major. Click here Ardeo Quartet performing second movement of Janáček's String Quartet No. 2 Intimate Letters Become a Friend of West Cork Music and book your tickets early By becoming a Friend of West Cork Music, you can avail of Priority Booking as well as a range of other benefits including invitations to Friends and Artist receptions.
