There’s been a change in the air this week, and I am not just referring to the drop in temperature.
Over the last number of months, we have been going through a lot of changes at The Everyman. We’ve welcomed a new CEO in Anna Marie Coughlan and we now have Des Kennedy firmly back in Cork and ready to take up residence as Artistic Director.
All these new faces can bring a sense of excitement to an old beautiful building and we are firmly strapped in for the next phase at The Everyman.
Looking at the programme for Autumn/Winter, we are lucky to have such a fantastic and varied line-up coming at us. It’s cliché to say but we have something that will appeal to everyone. For all the music enthusiasts, we have shows from Camille O Sullivan, Lisa Hannigan, John Spillane, The Sunday Songbook crew take on Tom Jones and not forgetting to mention The Jazz Festival.
We have brand new drama from The Fishamble group called Breaking! This show will leave you questioning everything you thought you knew about relationships! A must see!
Rest assured we will be having plenty of laughs heading into winter too with the likes of Rachel Parris, Ed Byrne and many more.
Our festive season is capped off always by our wonderful, family friendly Panto, this year we will be painting the town Red with Red Riding Hood! Make sure to get your tickets before it’s too late.
I am 5 months into my new role at The Everyman and I can’t wait to see what’s to come over the next few months!
