Dear Cork Cultural Companions Welcome to a Triskel’s Visual Arts newsletter. Riki Matsuda’s residency will end this weekend but make sure to check out Cork Midsummer Festival’s line-up for more on her work. Before she leaves us, Riki will host two lovely workshops for the homesick about the importance of keeping in touch. These Happy Hour workshops will run on Friday 3 and Saturday 4 May at 2pm. They are free to attend, all crafting supplies are included and space is limited so book your ticket now.   We’re looking forward to welcoming benchspace, Sample-Studios, Cork Craft & Design and Shandon Art Studios to Triskel for STAMP, the festival of creativity. There’s an exciting programme of events happening so make sure to check them out. Come visit the Triskel Sample Project Space this Friday or Saturday for a social hour of making correspondence art with the artist.    Enjoy group drawing, letter writing, and a quick lesson in envelope construction. Write to your mum, a stranger, an unrequited love, a cat, or even yourself; in fact, anyone you believe is in need of a little tenderness.
