This sonic voyage, in three acts, begins with Music of… Sadness and Comfort (Sunday 4 February) featuring star mezzo-soprano Niamh O’Sullivan with the spellbinding flute and fiddle accompaniment of Johnny McCarthy.

Music of… Love and Heartache (Sunday 10 March) is next with West End musical sensation Molly Lynch and the extraordinary harpist Anne-Marie Papin Labazordiere.

The soulful Karen Underwood, backed by virtuosic drummer Davie Ryan, will bring the series to its grand finale with Music of… Faith and Doubt (Sunday 28 April).

ORA QUARTET
The recently formed Ora Quartet, featuring Molly O’Shea (violin), Ali Comerford (viola), Yseult Cooper Stockdale (cello) and Siún Milne (violin) will provide the musical backdrop for each evening.
John O’Brien, who leads the series and will guide audiences through each evening, commented:

“With our incredible Ora String Quartet as the heart of the series, and with world class guest artists, we will play music, from across different eras and genres, that explores big emotions, and our common humanity. I'm so excited to share this with our audience!”
