SONORO QUARTET ON TOUR NOVEMBER 1-5
Ahead of the holiday weekend I wanted to let you know of next week's tour by the Sonoro Quartet. Featuring Cork violist Seamus Hickey, this exciting young Irish/French/Belgian group has quickly built an impressive and high profile career playing in major concert halls throughout Europe. Their programme for this tour includes Sean Doherty's trad-classical Devil's Dream, Shostakovich's dark and powerful second quartet from 1944 and one of Beethoven's most exciting and virtuosic quartet, his third 'Rasumovsky' quartet. Whatever else Count Andrey Kirillovich Razumovsky achieved in life, he is only really remembered as a patron of the arts!
KINSALE - Thursday 2nd November at 8pm - Methodist Church - presented by Kinsale Amateur Orchestral Society - tickets available only at the door
